“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease but as a result of Dr Olmos and his treatment, I am doing better this year than I was a year ago; I can go to bed and sleep well, the pain in my shoulders and neck is gone..”

Bruce is a 62 yr old Parkinson’s patient who first met Dr Olmos at a Parkinson’s Disease support group where Dr Olmos had been invited to discuss the treatment he had already provided for some of the group members. Bruce says that it was his wife who was very enthusiastic and he admits” I was rather skeptical in the beginning that Dr Olmos and my jaw would have an impact on my Parkinson’s Disease.”

Bruce explains that he came to TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre with 2 major complaints of:

Not being able to sleep well
“my sleep at night was terrible, I woke up in the morning feeling really poorly and as a result I did not want to go to bed at night and I did not want to get up in the morning”

Pain that was preventing needed exercise
“I had pain in my neck and shoulders that was having an impact on my ability to exercise which if you know about Parkinson’s you know exercise is very important in slowing it’s progression down”

Now after coming to see Dr Olmos and receiving treatment, Bruce reports his quality of life is much, much better this year than a year ago; he is able to go to bed and sleep well and his pain in his shoulders and neck is completely gone.
