Hands-on TMD & Sleep Residency

Due to real patient care, prerequisites are required.

Hands-on, in office program for treatment of TMD, Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Disordered Breathing/Apnea. Participants make a commitment to attend six two-day sessions over the course of six months.

The Advanced TMD and Sleep Residency (ATMDR) offers an incomparable opportunity to continue your education in this very complicated area of dentistry and, as a result, increase your productivity and predictability with TMD and Sleep patients.

Steeped in hands-on learning, the course begins by working up patients using Dr. Olmos' simple reproducible system for triage of structural injuries, sleep and systemic inflammatory conditions. In the ensuing weeks, participants produce a diagnosis, prescribe treatments and physical modalities, develop appropriate patient records and fabricate appliances. Patients are followed throughout the six month period and, over time, Phase II therapies are conducted. By the completion of the program, all participants will have the confidence to properly diagnose and treat TM Dysfunction and OSA patients into their practice.
